I LOVE and grew up with LEGOs! Me, my brother, and his friend would put together train tracks and build Hogwarts together! We made characters (mostly I did, actually) and I still love them and keep them intact today. Seriously, I go insane if someone takes apart my characters.
Out of all the toys I've had, the world of my LEGOs is more elaborate and filled with imagination than with anything else. (I've only had AG dolls for a couple years, and my brother has owned these LEGOs since maybe before I was born. He's three years older than me, so it's possible.) It also helped that I actually had my brother and his friend in on it, because that helped expand my imagination and the entire LEGO world.
Smear the name of LEGOs and you shall receive no ice cream after dinner! That's right, these things were my childhood, and I mean business!
My LEGO world is so elaborate because:
-Almost everybody is a wizard, the kids being Hogwarts students (The Muggles have never really been played with much and have smaller chances of becoming permanent characters).
-I created a LOT of permanent characters and made up whole families, then sometimes gave them background stories if they were more important characters.
-I created the LEGO world's strongest wizards, which were probably my first couple of LEGO characters.
Weird/Unusual things about my LEGO world:
-Those two wizards I just talked about? Yeah, they went to Hogwarts for 23 and 22 years. (They're a year apart.) Another guy did tie with the younger one at 22 years. XD That's part of their wisdom, Hogwarts was different every year, so they learned a bunch of different stuff.
-Since I probably just made you confused with my '23 and 22 years' thing, I shall note this next. In my LEGO world, time sort of sped up. XD Now it's at a normal rate, but for the first 8 or 9 years, things progressed quickly. I did the math, and I would have started my LEGO world in 1986. XD That was when my first LEGO character was only eleven, and he rescued and brought home his adopted little sister, who was just ten. THEY GROW UP SO FAST!
-Most of my characters don't have last names. I feel sad that I never gave a last name to the two wizards, but I think I know what it should be. I named the boy after my brother's friend, so I suppose I could give him that last name? I got three new characters for Christmas, and I gave them the last name 'Swede'. (Kaymarie, Brydon, and Kailann Swede. ) I did create a Gryffindor character and named him Laughy Laughner or something like that, because his LEGO had a huge open mouth. XD He was supposed to be the annoying guy who laughed a lot.
-The other guy that went to Hogwarts for 22 years? His name was 'Mail Guy'. I kid you not, he use to bring the mail or something. His LEGO was actually an old man, but I made him a kid...
-I 'deleted' these happenings from the LEGO world, but at some point I made one character part Betazoid and then she had three kids? She was still in Hogwarts, too, now that I realize. XD If you don't know what a Betazoid is, ask Arianna. XD
Sorry, I LOVE talking about my LEGO world because I get to brag about my overactive imagination and it was my whole childhood. YAYYYYYYYYYYY.
More to come later....
Everyone that's not me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
