September and I thought we'd share a couple of crafts with you. I made both of these from one small box, and I didn't throw away a single scrap from it. This is the final product of my shelf and picture frame, both made from the same box. I have placed a miniature mouse on the top shelf, and a Game Boy Advance on the bottom, with a few magazines tucked underneath. Cut out any flaps on the box, and then the window front. Do not throw away the flaps. I used the top of the box as the shelf. to secure the shelf to the back of the box, I used little sticky dots, but you can use tape. Great, so I've got the shelf secured in the back. But how do I secure the front to keep it from caving? Take the flaps you cut off. staple one end of one flap to the underside of the shelf. Staple the other end of the flap to the side of the box. (It should be in an L-shape.) This keeps the shelf attached to the side of the box. Do this on both sides. Try to refrain from putting heavy objects on the shelf, as it will still be pretty weak compared to wooden shelves. Now, for the picture frame. Now take the front of the box you cut out- the one with the window on it. Take a picture or a poster (I used an AG poster) and tape or staple it to the back of your frame. The window in the frame will allow you to view which ever part of the picture you would like to display. Thanks for reading!

Cute! I'll have to do that if I have more cardboard! I have a lack of cardboard right now...
