I like writing, so a couple months ago I decided to write from a doll perpective. The following is the first part of the second GotY story, the first one I finished.
The GotY building: Bathroom ----- and Kailey's rooms Marisol and Jess's rooms Nicki and Mia's rooms Chrissa and Sonali's rooms Gwen and Lanie's rooms Kanani and McKenna's rooms Kitchen/office and laundry room Dining room and rec room Heavily guarded front door
Some GotY's have beds in their collections. The ones that don't have hard white ones. They are not allowed to eat out of the dining room and cannot leave the building. It's very strict.
Now, the story.
Prologue- Kailey Kailey sat in her room on her hard bed. Suddenly, the door burst open. "Hi, K" Kailey began, then glanced up and gasped. "You're not Kanani!"
Chapter one- Marisol Kanani cried and cried. "Kailey!" she wailed. "She's gone!" She was going to go to Kailey's room earlier, but she had been backtracked. When she got to Kailey's room, apologizing for being late, Kailey wasn't there. With the help of Lanie and McKenna, Kanani had searched the building. They couldn't find Kailey anywhere. "It's all my fault!" Kanani cried. "If only I hadn't been late!" Jess tried to reassure her. "Kanani, it wasn't your fault. Don't say it was. It wasn't!" "Oh, it was!" But where was Kailey? It was a very good question.
Chapter two- Jess We had to investigate. Kailey wouldn't just disappear! She couldn't! The guards wouldn't let her! I collected the other girls, and we headed down the hall. Marisol opened the door. We searched and searched. Suddenly, Sonali yelled, "Look at this!"
Chapter three- Nicki Sonali waved a slip of paper. Sandy, Kailey's dog, barked. "Let me see!" cried McKenna excitedly. "I'll read it," said Chrissa. Taking the paper, she gasped. "'To the remaining GotY's: We have taken your friend, Kailey, away. There is no need for her anymore. Her room will be emptied when ----- arrives. If any of you would like her things, take them now. Sincerly, American Girl.' Oh my goodness. This isn't right!" A look of fear crossed Gwen's face, and she fainted. The 2009 girls were freaked. And shocked. Marisol sat down with her head in her hands. This was probably very nerve-wracking for her. Kailey was one of her best friends, and we had two months to find her before it was too late. The girl of 2013 would bring doom on Kailey- forever.
Chapter four- Mia October twenty fifth. We had hardly any time before Kailey was gone for good. What could we do? Ten girls, in close captivity, with no chance of escape, had no possible chance at rescuing someone that we don't even know where is. Or did we?
Chapter five- Chrissa Gwen was taking care of Sandy. Most of us had our own pets, and couldn't handle another crazy dog. But Gwen was petless, and Sonali volunteered her. You could imagine how shocked Gwen was- waking from a faint and discovering she was taking care of Kailey's dog. Meanwhile, Jess feverently spoke to Sonali. I wonder what she was saying. Jess, along with Lanie, had come up with the plan in the Lindsey incident. I wonder if she was asking Sonali to help her with a plan for Kailey. I walked down to the rec room, where a ballet bar and a beam sat. McKenna was there, standing on her hands in the middle of the beam, eyes closed in concentration. "McKenna," I whispered under my breath. She opened her eyes and swung down from the beam. A single tear ran down her face.

Awesome! I'm a big fan of GOTY fanfictions, as most of you know. Becauseallofminearegotythemed. You forgot Lindsey, though.

I didn't forget Lindsey. -----'s room used to be hers. But something happened to her in the first book that I never finished- left off at Lanie's first chapter- that I no longer remember and she isn't in the GotY building for that reason.

Next five chapters!
Chapter six- Sonali Jess told me to bring a piece of paper and meet her in her room at 3:00. When I got there, I noticed Lanie had already arrived. "Oh, good, you're here, Sonali. Lanie," said Jess, "could you please go get Kanani? Maybe she could tell us something." Lanie exited the room, leaving me and Jess alone. Jess bit her lip. "We have to think of something, Sonali," she told me. "What did you see when you found the note?" I thought back, trying to recall the messy room. "It was messy," I said. "That's strange," said Jess. "Her room is normally clean." Jess took the paper and wrote, "Room messy." At the top of the page, she wrote, "Kailey Evidence." The door opened suddenly. Lanie led a weeping Kanani into the room. Evidently she hadn't stopped thinking it was her fault. "Kanani," began Jess, "why were you late for your meeting with Kailey?" More tears ran down Kanani's face. "The supervisor wanted to talk to me." Lanie and I gasped, as Kanani burst into yet another outburst of tears. But what did the supervisor want with Kanani?
Chapter seven- Gwen Great. Just great. Sonali just HAD to volunteer me to take care of Sandy, didn't she? I woke up in Kailey's room, alone except for Marisol and Sandy. Marisol handed me a leash. I asked her why. "Gwen," she said softly, "you're going to take care of Sandy until we find Kailey." I didn't know what to say. Soon, I ended up in my room with a barking dog from 2003 at the end of my bed. What was a girl to do?
Chapter eight- Lanie The supervisor had wanted to speak to Kanani! What does this mean? The supervisor was a very important man, and didn't pay much attention to we girls in his care. AG liked the man, and had put all their GotY's- that's us- in his care when they didn't want us at Innerstar U anymore. He had hired a couple cooks, a secretary, and the guards, who worked outside. I remembered when we first arrived here, in early September. After several days, I had begged to go outside. You know my nature. But that's when I found out that we GotY's were in lockdown. We weren't going outside ever again. Our pets were taken and litterbox trained, except of course Lulu and Marisol's cat. Suddenly, Kanani wailed loudly, dragging me back to the present day. Jess wrote down something on Sonali's paper. Sonali gave Kanani a hug, resulting in Kanani gasping for air. Sonali is a very tight hugger. At least Kanani stopped crying to gasp. Suddenly, out of the blue, the door burst open and two guards ran in.
Two days later...
Chapter nine- Kananï Ever since Kailey disappeared, I have never felt the same. Barksee seemed depressed, and McKenna nearly never left her beam. On the day when the guards came, my life turned upside down for the millionth time. They were gathering the GotY's. McKenna was dying.
Chapter ten- McKenna I couldn't believe it. It had to be now. We were still getting over Lindsey when Kailey disappeared. Now my year is nearly gone. My entire life was backordered, for the millionth time since I first came out. But I was still surprised when AG came to me. They gave me the bad news that every GotY hates to hear- I had limited time left. They said my dolls were nearly gone. They told me they were holding an early retirement ceremony just for the GotY's, although the official retirement would be at the end of December. They had brought the others. Kanani still cried, although now it might be for me who she cries. Kanani had wailed nearly nonstop in the past week. Marisol had been styling hair while nervous, I assumed. As they filed into the rec room, it was obvious- nearly every GotY wore a dancer's bun in her hair. Jess did not look amused with this. AG's representative cleared his throat and began to speak.

And now, the first of Mia's great plans. See chapter fifteen (end of post)
Chapter eleven- Marisol Not again. I hated the time of year when a GotY ran out. Kanani was so sad when she sold out. Now McKenna was ffoop going. I heard a muffled bark from her room. Cooper longed to comfort his girl. AG's representative banged the beam to get our attention. We stared. Gwen and Sonali ceased their conversation. The representative coughed. Then he said, "We are gathered here today to commemorate the girl of 2012, McKenna Brooks. McKenna is running low, and will begin to sell out soon. This GotY loved gymnastics, and her collection had many gymnastics-related items. She had a dog and a hamster. McKenna lived in Seattle, Washington, and dreamed of someday being in the Olympics." The man continued, and then raised a permanent marker. We knew what it meant, and sucked our wrists. The cuts of retirement hurt. The marker was the precursor to the cut. AG would have a mark put on a retiring doll's wrist with a permanent marker. When she was gone, the mark would be cut away, leaving a small pock on the wrist. Kaya would know what those were. Her grandmother had had them from a sickness. A second person took McKenna's arm, and the representative made a small mark on her wrist. Kanani winced, remembering what the marker had meant for her. That's when we found out- danger was coming our way.
Chapter twelve- Jess A hurricane was about to hit the east coast! It was going to reach us soon! The youngest GotY's- mainly, Lanie and her successors, ran through the halls screaming. Marisol fainted. The stress must have been too much for her. Kailey, McKenna, hurricane Sandy... it does sound very hectic. That's when we realized- Kailey was in danger.
Chapter thirteen- Kailey Ever since AG had had me taken away, they had been trying to find the perfect place to hide me. We had been going all over New York State. But now, Sandy was here. And we were in New York City. I'm scared. Seriously scared.
Chapter fourteen- Nicki We had to break out. Kailey had to be saved. AG might hurt her, and Sandy might hurt her, and I don't know how we'll do it... I flopped onto my bed. Mia sat on it too, biting her lip. "Ouch," she said. "Oh, Mia," I cried, "what can we do? We have to save Kailey! How will we get out of the GotY building?" Mia thought for a minute. Then she got an idea, and whispered it to me. "That's a great idea, Mia! Let's do it!" We high fived, then ran out to tell the other GotY's.
Chapter fifteen- Mia It was nearly time to put my plan in action. The other GotY's had loved it, and thought it would work if we could pull it off. When the clock struck eleven thirty, we peeked out of our rooms. Seeing no one, we winked at each other, and snuck down the hall. We opened a door. There was a small room here, accompanied by the front door. But we couldn't just go out! It wasn't that simple. There were guards outside the front door. Jess knew what to do. We all hid- some clung to the eaves, while Lanie and Kanani crouched behind the registration desk. Someone even hid inside a potted plant! Now, you may ask, why did we go out at eleven thirty? You see, we knew the guards would be coming inside, one at a time- there were two- to get their lunch soon. We would knock them out before they got in the hall, and make our escape. Jess had us covered. She was one of the girls hiding in the eaves. We waited patiently. McKenna moaned of her hunger- we had skipped lunch to do this. Finally, at twelve noon, the door creaked open and a guard stepped in. He didn't see us! This was great! He reached for the doorknob into the main hall, when suddenly, Jess shot out from the eaves. She crashed into him, knocking him out. Then she quietly climbed back into the eaves. We high fived. My plan was working! After about forty five more minutes- McKenna claimed she was starving- the door opened. The other guard wondered where his partner went. He saw him on the floor and gasped. Then, just as before, Jess shot down. Lanie and Kanani stood up. Gwen emerged from the potted plant. The rest of us lowered ourselves down from the eaves. We cheered. Our escape was now.

Chapter sixteen- Chrissa We were on the run. Mia's plan had worked brilliantly. Now we had two objectives: One: Find Kailey before we all get killed by Superstorm Sandy, and Two: Don't get caught before then. It seems easy, but is it really? We're lost in New York, with no idea where Kailey is! Marisol suggested going to New York City, and so, we are. We just have to figure out how to get there.
Meanwhile, at the GotY building... Someone working in the lunch room came out into the hall. "That's strange," she said. "The GotY's are NEVER late for lunch!" She walked up the hall. "Hmm, they're not in the rec room... or the laundry room, either. They're not in any of their rooms... or -----'s or Kailey's. And the bathroom is vacant!" The woman gasped. "They're gone!"
Chapter seventeen (wow)- Sonali We searched for a town. Finally, we found ourselves in Schenecady, a town a bit north of Albany. "Does anyone have any money?" asked Lanie. You see, we needed to buy disguises. McKenna waved a wallet. "Great!" said Lanie. Kanani, who hasn't cried as much since our escape, might I add, held up a wallet too. "After we get disguises, let's catch a bus to New York City, OK?" suggested Jess. Kanani gasped. "Maybe I'll see Rachel!" Rachel was her cousin. Soon, we were out on the streets, searching for the bus. And then we found it. In a couple hours, we reached New York City.
Chapter eighteen- Gwen New York City. Such a busy, busy place. I haven't been here since I was in the AG store here- way back in 2009! It's changed some since then. Plus, there is screaming and dashing around and preparing like crazy for Sandy. I could wait for it. We had to find our friend. By this time, we were in our own clothes again. Whenever we saw blond hair, we ran to see if it was her. Once, we even thought Lanie, who had been far behind us, was her. Guess what- she wasn't. But then we saw something- a blond girl in a sundress, holding the hand of a man in a suit. They disappeared into a skyscraper before we saw her face, but we all were sure we knew who we had seen. We snuck towards the building, and went inside.
Chapter nineteen- Kailey I was wearing my meet sundress. A man in a grey striped suit posed as my father. We went inside a very tall building. It was most certainly taller than that thing would have been on the beach, had it ever been built. I'm glad it wasn't. The suit dude led me to an elevator. It was the fanciest elevator I had ever seen- it had windows and a soft couch in case you were going up several floors and it even had a refridgerator! Amazing! The man sat me on the couch, and clicked a button that said 26. The next thing I knew, we were going up.
Chapter twenty- Lanie The building was so fancy! For once, with hurricane weather, I was glad to be inside. There was a single elevator. We headed towards it and waited. Nothing happened for some time. Then Jess smacked her forehead. "Why didn't anybody push the elevator button?" she asked, pressing it. It arrived in seconds. We stepped in. I inspected the buttons. The 26 seemed different... I touched it. "Still warm," I announced. "The last person in here went to level 26." "Great!" cried McKenna. "Press it!" So I did. We started going up.

Well, turns out I can post this today! ;D
Chapter twenty one- Kailey Suit Dude led me down a very long hall on floor 26. There were so many doors! Big doors and small doors, and black doors and brown doors, and fancy doors and plain doors, and doors with handles and doors with knobs, and so many more! One thing I noticed, though, was that none of these doors had a lock. This was weird. When we finally reached the end of the hall, there was a big steel door. It did have a lock. I noticed something- the bottom of the door was a centimeter off the ground. Suit Dude either didn't know or didn't care. He took a key and opened the door. Then he pushed me inside. Then I heard something terrible- the sound of a door locking!
Chapter twenty two- Kananï The elevator bell dinged. Then it dung twenty five more times. The doors opened, and we got off. I saw a lot of doors. I started to cry. We'd never find Kailey now! "Oh no, not again! Kanani's crying!" Nicki whined. I looked some more. There were so many doors! I started feeling dizzy. Then I fell. The last thing I heard was, "Kanani! Wake up! Stay with us!"
Chapter twenty three- Kailey I looked around my prison. I was dismayed to find that there were no windows. There were no keys, either. Looking back at the door, I was shocked to see that there was no knob on this side! There was a picnic basket in here however. I opened it. There were three sandwiches and a thermos full of grape juice, and that was all. I took a tiny nibble of a sandwich, and then I heard something. "-nani's crying!" The voice sounded so familiar that I felt like crying myself. I peeked out the centimeter under the door. Those boots looked familiar... Then a head of tanned hair fell to the ground. Someone shrieked. I heard a second voice, crying, "Kanani! Wake up! Stay with us!" I gasped. The voice I heard HAD been Nicki! The GotY's had come to save me! But how did they get out? And what had happened to Kanani?
Chapter twenty four- McKenna "She's dead!" I wailed. "McKenna, relax! She's not dead! She's perfectly fine! She just fainted," reassured Jess. "Hmm," I said. Mia looked down the hall. "It's so long! How will we ever figure out which one she could possibly be behind?" she wondered. Suddenly, we heard a bang at the end of the hall. "Hey, what was that?" asked Lanie. "I don't know! Let's go find out!" cried Chrissa, running down the hall with her friends behind her. Nicki got up from next to Kanani, and we followed them.
Chapter twenty five- Kailey I smacked the steel door as hard as I could. I was nearly deafened by the noise it caused. "Hey, what was that?" someone said. Yay! It worked! I saw three pairs of feet running down the hall towards me. Then more followed. "Kailey! Is that you?" I heard the voice of Marisol asking. "Yes! It's me! Get me out of here!" I cried. "One problem," said Gwen's voice. "How?"

Nearly at the end of this story! Next week I'm start the next one. Earlier, in the hall... The girl had been disposed of, and Suit Dude was heading back down the hall. He tossed the key into a wastebasket. Nobody came up here, so no one would ever find it. Then he heard the elevator arriving, and ducked into a door. Chapter twenty six- Marisol I was so happy! We had found my best friend! But a solid steel door stood beteen us. And it was locked. Now what? All this time and now, when a hurricane was coming, the door was locked! WHYYYYYY? ? Lanie was searching the hall. Suddenly, about halfway down, I heard a sudden noise- in her voice. The other girls, mind you, were with me by Kailey's door. "Woomph!" Lanie had cried. "What?" asked Nicki. Jess, McKenna, and I went to see what Lanie was doing. I gasped. There was only a shoe. Chapter twenty seven- Lanie I was minding my own business, walking down the hall. Perhaps there was a clue to the key here. I paused to admire a pretty door, when suddenly, a fancy white door that looked like a gate burst open. Some guy in a grey striped suit grabbed me and shoved me in. In my struggle to get away from him, my shoe popped off and landed in the hall. He didn't notice. The door slammed shut. I sat there a second. I heard the sound of pounding feet as the other GotY's rushed to the scene. I pounded on the door. It flew open. Then the floor fell away! Chapter twenty eight- Jess Marisol was the the first to the scene. Lanie's shoe lay in the hall. McKenna and I tried to find her. Suddenly, we heard a pounding on a gatelike door. It flew open, and there was Lanie. Then, the floor under her fell away! Lanie latched her hands onto the bottom of the door frame, struggling to stay up. Marisol gasped. I lay down on the floor and wiggle over to the door. "Can you pull yourself up?" I asked Lanie. "No!" she cried, as if that were obvious. "Grab my hand!" I told her. She snatched it. McKenna and Marisol grabbed my legs, and we pulled Lanie back up into the hall. She panted in exhaustion as we sat down. "Phew!" Lanie was happy that she had been saved. Then we went back over to Kailey's door. On the way back, we saw that Kanani was still fainted. Lanie gave her a soft kick. She sat up with a start. Then all five of us returned to the door. Chapter twenty nine- Nicki Mia and I decided to go together to search the hall. We walked along. All we saw was door after door after door. That's when Mia saw a trashcan. "Now why would there be anything in a trashcan?" I asked her, when she planned to look inside it. "You'd be surprised," she said, pulling a key out of the can. "YES!" I cried, jumping into the air. We ran to the door, passing Marisol, McKenna, Jess, Lanie, and Kanani as we did. "Kailey!" I shouted under the door. "We found the key!" "That's GREAT!" she cried. The others arrived. Mia waved the key. They jumped and cheered. Mia handed the key to Marisol. With a tear in her eye, Marisol unlocked and opened the door. Kailey ran out. We cheered. They hugged. The early GotY's were very emotional. Suddenly, the building shook violently. Chrissa and Sonali screamed. Hurricane Sandy was here. Chapter thirty- Mia AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter thirty one- Kailey Yay! I'm free and we're together again! But now the hurricane is here! What are we going to do?!?!?! Lanie closed her eyes. She led us to a fancy white door that looked like a gate. She opened it. Instead of a floor, there was a hole. Kanani bit her lip in fear. Jess opened the next door, labeled FIRE ESCAPE. There was a staircase! We wouldn't have to leap! Kanani hugged Jess. Jess looked very surprised. Marisol looked down the staircase. It was spiraled down twenty six levels. As the water thundered around town, Nicki hurried down the stairs, followed by the rest of us. We finally reached the first floor, and Sonali found the basement door. We rushed in. The hurricane roared. Suddenly, the lights blinked out! Chapter thirty two- Chrissa The wind howled. The water thundered and roared. It was really scary. But we had what mattered- each other. The darkness was gloomy. Sonali and Gwen came over and sat by me. Looking around, I saw the other GotY's huddling together- Jess, Nicki, and Mia; Lanie, Kanani, and McKenna; Marisol and Kailey. We listened to the evil hurricane noises- glass breaking, trees being uprooted, light poles crashing to the ground. It was scary, but we were together. And it would stay that way. Even if this building is injured and we all die, it'll be together. I won't leave my friends behind. Ever. After the hurricane... The rescue committee entered the remains of what once had been a very tall building. It had been known for its hall of doors. The building had many less floors now, no thanks to Superstorm Sandy. They looked at the first floor, the second floor, and the third floor. That was all that was left. Just as they were about to leave, someone found the basement door. One young man went down, and saw eleven sleeping girls huddled together. But those girls looked familiar. He looked at a missing poster recently posted by a famous doll company. All but one of those girls matched the descriptions on the paper. One crawled over towards a box, oblivious to his standing there. He picked up one girl, who matched the description of a girl named Gwen- white sundress, blond hair with bangs- and carried her to the stairs. The girl by the box noticed him then. He carried a few more girls to Gwen. Soon, all but two had been taken over- Box Girl and the girl who wasn't listed. He looked at his paper. Box Girl was a girl named Marisol Luna. "Come here, Marisol," he said. "Let's go to safety." He gestured towards the nine other girls. The freckled, curly-haired one rolled over and snored loudly. Marisol stared him down. The man felt a little nervous. Then Marisol got up, and walked to the remaining girl's side. "I won't go without her. As Chrissa said, we stick together." The remaining girl- a blond wearing a sky blue sundress- sat up next to her friend. They looked at him, clutching each other's hands. "I give up," he said finally, after a long silence. Gwen and one other girl, with black hair and an orange top, sat silently amongst the sleepers. The four girls stood up. Marisol and Sundress Girl picked up a tawny haired Hawaiian- Kanani. Gwen and the fourth girl hoisted a girl in a striped dress. She had a dark mark on her left wrist. The man picked up a brown haired girl in a pink dress and a redhead in a fuschia sweater. The small procession silently went upstairs. Gwen, Marisol, Sundress Girl, and the last girl put down Kanani and the girl with the striped dress. Then they returned downstairs. The girl in the pink dress, whose blue eyes were seen as she yawned and blinked, woke up as she and Sweater were put down. Soon, all the girls were awake on the first floor. Chapter thirty three- Sonali A hurricane had passed! But we were safe! It was a miracle. Every one of us had survived the thing that folks have dubbed "Superstorm Sandy" or "Frankenstorm!" The man who retrieved us from the basement stared at us. We stared at him. He glanced at a sheet of paper, as if to confirm something. "Girls," he said, "you realize I'm going to have to take you back to where you came from. However, the girl in the blue sundress is not listed. Is she from where you are?" We hardly glanced at each other before shouting out, "YES!" He nodded, then took out a phone, and dialed a number which was evidently listed on that piece of paper. He wrote something down, most likely the address to take us to. Then he led us to a long van, and we got in. Then he drove off. Chapter thirty four- Gwen I knew where we were going- back to the GotY building. Our freedom didn't last, but at least we had Kailey with us- our original point. I was amazed at the level of destruction- trees uprooted, tall buildings toppled and destroyed. Filth and destruction was everywhere. Dirty water ran through the streets. McKenna stared out the window. Just stared. "McKenna," Chrissa whispered under her breath. McKenna turned back towards us. Then she cried. She just cried. A few days later... Chapter thirty five- Kailey I was back! I relaxed on my bed in my wetsuit. Marisol was here too. We had been chatting. Then, the door creaked open. Gwen, with a single sob, presented me with a purple leash. Then Sandy, barking in joy, leaped on top of me. I laughed as she licked me. Gwen smiled a little. Then she left. I heard a yell from Kanani's room. We rushed in, along with most of the other GotY's. Lanie stood, looking a little nervous, as Kanani climbed up a ladder. She put a slip of paper inside a glass jar. Nicki whispered a question to Mia. Mia shrugged. Kanani cleared her throat. "This is my sadness," she declared, holding the jar aloft. "You might want to get shoes." Jess ran out of the room for a minute. Then she came back. Kanani continued, "I have been sad for so long. Without Lindsey, Kailey's disappearance, and the hurricane were major factors in this. I'm tired of crying! Step back," she said to Lanie, who had been keeping a tight hold on the ladder. We backed up. Kanani raised the jar in the air. Then she flung it to the ground. An ear splintering crash filled the air. The jar lay broken on the floor. "I will release sadness! I shall be happy through all situations! I am done with sadness!" Then Kanani climbed off the ladder. "To cheer!" she cried, raising her fist. "To cheer!" we replied. We'd never be the same after what had occured through the last two weeks. We'd changed, but for the better. And we were together. What we had always needed. The end. Ok, this story is over! I'll start the next one after Christmas
